After receiving my first assignment for my Press and Editorial Photography course at Falmouth University last week the project has been completed.
The brief for this assignment was photograph the exteriors and interiors of the post code my partner and I received and the people or person working there. Then we had to sort through our collective images and select down three, one from each of the above categories. It doesn't matter which images were taken by who in our team. Our selected three images were then pinned up in an informal display to our peers and then told them a bit about our images.
On Thursday the 16th, my partner and I went to our designated location, Beerwolf Books Freehouse, and immediately began shooting. I really liked the old-fashioned style of the building and the barrel decor outside giving the place a warm feeling and made it look more interesting. The inside was no different. I took a lot of photographs as there was so much to see in the small pub and it's book store section.
Here are a selection of photos that I took.
The following Sunday I sat down with my partner and we went through all of our images and selected the three, one from each category. We chose our images, two of which were mine and can be seen here:
These images fell under the exterior and interior categories for the brief while my partner provided the person photograph.
